Maroochydore Roos Club Policy

The club has a strong belief that success will be determined from the development of local youth, providing young men and women with the opportunity to create lifelong friendships in a safe and healthy environment. Development includes on field skills, acceptance of responsibility, and leadership, and this is enhanced with off field education, respect and loyalty to the club and one another.

Code of Conduct

  • Maroochydore Australian Football Club members, players, officials, supporters or visitors will at all times fully comply with rules and policies of the club
  • All members, players, officials, supporters or visitors will at all times conduct themselves in a courteous and respectful manner.
  • Players will display sportsmanship and respect to their peers, coaches, volunteers, and opposition teams at all times
  • All players are required to attend all training sessions either to train or seek medical treatment, unless prior arrangements have been made with coaches
  • All players and officials are required to wear club attire to all match days and official club events
  • Alcohol and cigarettes are not permitted on any playing surface at any time
  • Support all efforts to remove verbal and physical abuse from sporting activities
  • Any breach of the code of conduct will be heard by a disciplinary committee convened for the purpose, and any action taken will be as deemed appropriate by that committee
